Jason Edison Raiford was born June 5, 1972, in Claremore, to Steven Edison and Mary Leonis (Scott) Raiford. He died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013, in Tulsa, at the age of 41 years. Jason was reared and educated in Tulsa and graduated with the Nathan Hale High School Class of 1991, where he excelled in baseball. A pickup truck crashed into a Tulsa house Friday, throwing a 16-year-old passenger to his death, police said. An unidentified driver was traveling about 3:25 p.m. in the 2400 block of S. Joplin Ave. when his pickup hit a pool of water and went out of control.The pickup jumped a curb, flipped and slammed into the garage of a house on S. Joplin Ave. Tracy Yingst , who was riding in the bed of the pickup, was taken to St. John Medical Center, where he died about 5:30. From Tulsa World 3-25-89
