Nena passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the age of 52. Nena Gail Mason was born July 17, 1962 in Tulsa, to John Ross and Norma Lee (Hogness) Blackburn. She was reared and educated in her birth community and attended John Ross Elementary, Bell Jr. High, Rogers High and graduated from Nathen Hale High School with the class of 1979. She continued her education at Tulsa Community College.

M. Brad Burgess, passed away at his home in Grove, OK on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the age of 51. Brad was born on April 22, 1963 in Fort Worth, TX, the son of the late Norman Burgess and Wanda (Floyd) Rowe. After Brad graduated from Nathan Hale High School in Tulsa, OK in 1981, he attended the University of Oklahoma. Brad graduated from OU in 1985 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and began his next “phase” as a lifelong “Sooner” alumnifanatic.

Dee Hefley was born to Leon and Beverly D. Hefley 7-21-1963. She left this world 6-23-1980 between her junior and senior year. Though she worked at Ken's Pizza she had dreams of becoming a model. She did very well in school making all A's. Her last night was spent enjoying the movie Romeo and Juliet with a friend. Later while going to Wendy's they were involved in an accident which took them from us.
Lee Houston's funeral will be Friday, August 21,2009, 11 am, at Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2pm at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, 71st Street & 129th East Ave in Tulsa.
Danna L. Howard-Knapp, the daughter of Dan and Betty Jo Howard, was born in Odessa, TX on 31 January 1963. She was raised in Tulsa, OK and was a member of the Garnett Road Church of Christ. Danna attended John Paul Jones Elementary School, Eli Whitney Junior High School, and then graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1981. Following graduation, Danna worked as a Bank Teller at the Tulsa Federal Employees Credit Union.
Mary Lane was diagnosed with leukemia the summer after she graduated from Hale. The disease appeared suddenly and took her life even more suddenly. She lived just a little over 2 months after the diagnosis. She had planned to attend OSU in the fall but on August 8, 1981 she lost her battle with the disease. Mary was my best friend for as long as I could remember. We were inseparable. I miss her just as much today as I did on Aug 9th, 1981. I love you Mary!! Dana Lindsay-Hammack, Class of 82

Nancy R. Mack, 51, passed from this life on August 4, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Nancy was born on March 9, 1963 in Stockton, California to Lowell and Barbara (Shanks) Moore. She worked in sales at Cedar Creek Wholesale and Braums. She met and married Gary James Mack and they shared many memorable years together.
Mark C. Mueting, 42, passed on February 3, 2005, Tulsa, OK. Born August 8, 1962, Riverside, CA. His love of the Arts led him into the field of decorating and design. Works by him have been displayed at the Philbrook Art Museum. He was a member of the 2000 Coral Choir, a lover of nature, rainstorms, beauty of falling snow and the tranquility of sunsets.

Lori Ann Potts-Whitaker-Benson, 44, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2007. Born April 26, 1963 in Tulsa, to Jo Potts Fritz and Richard Dean Potts. Lori bravely battled and survived a brain tumor and surgery, but suffered related complications. A devoted mother, homemaker and dear friend to all who knew her. She was a friend to everyone and never met a stranger; she made friends for life and was the glue that kept family members in touch with each other.She loved cooking,and trying new recipes

Darla A. Prewitt passed away October 8, 2015 in Harrison, Arkansas. She was 52. Darla is survived by her son, Josh; sister, Debbie; and father, Austin, all of Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven; mother, Lillian; brother, Victor; and sister, Dana. Darla was born in Tulsa and graduated from Nathan Hale High School. She attended Oklahoma Christian College and was a long-time employee of Bama Pie and Wal-Mart.

TONY L. TERRELL was born on February 3, 1963 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and left us on December 12, 2012. Tony grew up in Tulsa attending Hoover Elementary, Whitney Jr. High and Graduating from Nathan Hale High School in 1981. Tony loved and played sports all through his school years. Baseball, basketball and football during the early years, but his favorite sport was football.
