    Glenn Bergdorf passed away November 30, 2013 after a short battle with cancer in Vincent, OH. After Hale, he attended OSU, receiving a Production Management Degree. After college he joined the Air Force where he flew C-130 planes during the Vietnam War, receiving several awards for distinguished flying missions. After the service he took a position with Corning Glass at a plant in Muskogee, eventually relocating when the plant moved to West Virginia.

    Mary Anna Betts Carl passed way on June 30, 2015. After Hale she went on to received a Liberal Arts Degree from Arizona State. She returned to Tulsa to attend Ray’s Beauty School of Hairstyling. Mary received her license for Basic, Advanced and Instructors, and started doing hair. She married Donald Carl on October 13, 1993. Mary and Don spent the winters in Texas and the rest of the time in the Claremore area. Mary continued to work as a hairstylist, which is what she loved.

    Richard Hamby passed away December 26, 2015. At Hale he was captain of the wrestling team and the first student at Hale to place in a wrestling tournament. After graduation, he attended Okmulgee Tech. He found work as an electrician at Black Fox Nuclear Plant but eventually turned his occupation towards computers. Richard loved to paint and had an eye for photography. At one point in his life he raised and raced pigeons. He is survived by his brothers, Joe and Mike.

    Patrick Hanley passed away on June 1, 2008, of a heart attack. He attended Cascia Hall and graduated from Hale in 1962. He was looking forward to the big 50th Alumni reunion in 2009. He wanted to see his classmates again. He worked at American Airlines for many years. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Armstrong-Hanley, Class of '71.

    Jerry was born on August 22, 1945 and passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016. Jerry was a resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at the time of his passing. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Memorial service 10:00 a.m. Wednesday April 6 2016 at Grace Freewill Baptist Church 12323 145th East Avenue Broken Arrow Oklahoma 74011. Pastor Jason Hutsell will officiate. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Ft. Gibson National Cemetery Ft. Gibson Oklahoma.

    Nanci Kuharsky-Darst passed away on Oct 18, 2016, surrounded by family and friends. She was a loving wife for 50 years; a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to so many of us and touched our lives is so many different ways. After being diagnosed with brain cancer in April, she lived life to the fullest and wasn’t going to let it define her.

    Ronald W. Lewis passed away February 3, 2012. After high school, Ron enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he proudly served on the U.S.S. Savage during the Vietnam War. After the service Ron worked for various companies as a quality control inspector before retiring from Flowserve Corp. In his spare time Ron enjoyed oil painting, rock collecting, and especially spending time with family where he spent much of his later years researching the family tree.

    V. S. "Ginger" Stowell passed away May 16th, 2013 at home in Rising Sun, IN. After Hale, she received her master's degree from Oklahoma University. Ginger retired from Jennings County Schools where worked as a Speech & Language Pathologist. She was a member of the Ohio County Extension Homemakers Club, Red Hat Society, American Speech & Hearing Association, Indiana Speech & Hearing Association, the Ohio County Garden Club and the Good News Club where she read to students.

    L. Morris Mauney, Jr. passed away on Mar 11, 2016. He was Class President for the ’62 Rangers. He attended college and served in the US Air Force. Morris was the owner of Polaris Outdoors in Tulsa. He loved the outdoors especially when shared with friends and family. Morris' true passion was flying helicopters. He earned his pilot’s license over 20 years ago and truly enjoyed this aspect of his life. He loved sports cars, crossword puzzles and played classical 12 string guitar.

    Nancy Noland-Brenkman passed away July 29, 2006 in Tulsa. She had battled cancer for 6 months. Nancy was a loving wife, Mom and Mema and although she loved to shop, travel and spend time at their cabin at Lake Eufaula, her favorite activity was time with family and she especially loved her grandkids. She always put family first and was always there for them, whether it was sports, pom poms, choir or babysitting. Professionally, she was a Division Order Analyst and member of the SADOA.
