2007 Labor Day Party A repeat of last year's "end 'o summer" party at Karen & Larry's place on Grand Lake (scroll down on this page see photos from last year's party). This year we (Joe Banfield) talked Steve Pryor into bringing his band up to entertain us all afternoon. Just as you would imagine - it was amazing! |

SUMMER, 2006: In a mid-life fit of insanity, we hired the entire six piece Sweney/ Campbell Band to come up and play at our place on Grand Lake, on Labor Day (actually it was on Sunday, Labor Day weekend). We also got the bonus of having Jon Glazer on keyboards. He does not play with the band normally, but does a trio with Jim & Chris around Tulsa on a regular basis. It turned out to be a great excuse to have a mini RANGER WEEKEND up there - and it was probably the most fun I've had since we got the place 3 years ago. The band was incredible, the weather cooperated & the food was edible! I can't wait to do it again sometime next summer! - Karen Moon-Tinker |

7/13/06 Update from Lanette: We did decide on Sandy. She's a mess but she's a sweet girl. She's 21 pounds now and I don't know if she's going to hunt or not, but she sure can dig one hell of a hole!! 7/04/06 Butch & Lanette Brown-Giese have a new baby in their family!  "Cosmo" our canine fish-finder, did manage to get one of their catfish, even after I warned them that he would steal the fish, if they let him get close enough.
He
always brings his "catches" up to the house, to show me what he's got -
no matter what it is - dead or alive. Mom, look at what I
caught!!!
