The Alumni Foundation has been working hard to plan a series of 50th anniversary-related events, but some things have been cut out or delayed, primarily because we have so few “active” alumni.

The “All-School” reunion planned for early June was one of the casualties. We have had to postpone that event until the summer of 2010.

We need some serious help from an event planner or bossy alums who’s are real organizing nuts, to make this event happen. If you can help, please contact us at 50th@NathanHaleAlumni.org

The first big anniversary-related event will now take place on the weekend of September 25-26, 2009.

They signed up 13 new Alumni Foundation Members before and during their 35+1 Reunion this summer. They have issued the following CHALLENGE to the rest of the classes that are celebrating together this year...

We encourage all reunion committees to sign up new members and collect NHAF membership dues ($25 per year) as part of your pre-registration, or at any of your class events. The Class of '71 just included it as a separate item on their Registration form.

NHAF Dues are tax deductible and those funds allow us help out a wide variety of under funded student programs & projects at Hale. This year, it will be especially important because TPS schools have lost nearly all of their soft drink funding.
