I'm very casual in life. I have been UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) fighting for 12 years now. I've got some injuries to heal then I'll be back. I am on Ultimate Fighter 4. Fighting is what I do for a living, but it does not describe me as a person. I have a lot of other interests, including hanging with my kids.

Editor's note:  Ultimate Fighting is mixed martial arts fighting.  Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a combat sport in which two competitors attempt to achieve dominance over one another by utilizing a wide variety of permitted martial arts techniques, including striking and grappling.

STAFF SERGEANT RICK TEEHEE
UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS

Staff Sergeant Teehee was born on 26 May 1973 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Upon graduation at Nathan Hale High School, he attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and received an Associate of Arts Degree.  SSgt Teehee enlisted in the Marine Corps and attended Recruit Training in August of 1996 at MCRD San Diego, California.

Upon completion of recruit training, Private First Class Teehee attended Marine Combat Training at the School of Infantry, Camp Pendleton, California and Marine Corps Service Support School, Camp Johnson, North Carolina.  His first assignment was with Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, as a Supply Administration clerk with Headquarters Support Battalion, Bravo Company.  He was promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal in May of 1997 and the rank of Corporal in May of 1998.

In July of 1998, Corporal Teehee reported to Weapons Training Battalion, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina where he served as a Primary Marksmanship Instructor for the Base Marksmanship Training Unit.

In January of 2000, Corporal Teehee was reassigned to Marine Wing Support Squadron 371, MCAS Yuma, Arizona where he served as the Administrative Chief and Platoon Sergeant of the Supply section.  He was promoted to Sergeant in November of 2000.  In October 2001, he attended Sergeants Course at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, California.

In January of 2002, Sergeant Teehee attended Recruiter School at MCRD San Diego and upon completion was assigned to Recruiting Sub-Station Tulsa, Oklahoma for duty as a canvassing recruiter.  Staff Sergeant Teehee was meritoriously promoted to his present rank in July of 2003.  In April 2004, Staff Sergeant Teehee was reassigned to Recruiting Sub-Station Lawton, Oklahoma for duty as the Staff Non-commissioned Officer in Charge.

In April of 2005 Staff Sergeant Teehee reported to Marine Air Control Squadron 23, Aurora, Colorado where he is currently serving on the Inspector Instructor Staff as the unit Supply Officer.

Staff Sergeant Teehee’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal (third award), National Defense Service Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.

Staff Sergeant Teehee is married to the former Patricia Goines from Jacksonville, North Carolina and has two children.
