10/17/05
update:
Tim's
internet radio station, OverXposure.FM,
won the 2005 Web Radio Awards for Best Ambient/Chilled Station
and Best Downtempo DJ. Note: FrostByte Groove Lounge is
changing its name to "Groovera" in November, 2005.
Providing the ultimate in
cool ambient music, OverXposure.FM sets the standard for unique down
tempo, jazz, and lounge style beats, where you can go all day (or night)
never hearing the same song twice.
Tim's station is
DEFINITELY worth a visit. The sound quality is
incredible, using
cutting-edge mp3PRO technology. Tim offers information and links to
mp3PRO Audio Decoder
software on his web site. He has
also written an article on
"Connecting
Your Computer To Your Audio Receiver"
so that you can enjoy internet radio over that home or commercial
sound system you paid big bucks for.
Tim Quigley, Class of '88 has been a web producer since
1995 and started his freelance web production business Quigley
Interactive in 1997. His portfolio includes
several impressive site projects for Microsoft, Verizon, GTE, rock
guitarist Steve Lynch and others.
Tim is also the founder of a
unique internet radio station, OverXposure.FM.
"FrostByte Groove Lounge" showcases what he calls "cutting-edge elevator
music" - an alternative to smooth jazz, adult contemporary and easy
listening. The station reaches listeners in over sixty-five countries
and is enjoyed in home, business, educational and government settings
alike. He has plans to add several other formats in the future.
