Amanda Diaz-Livingston, 43, passed away on
Monday, October 13, 2008.
Amanda was born in in Tulsa, OK to Betty and Manny
Diaz. She graduated from Nathan Hale in 1983.
Several years after graduation, Amanda had moved
to Las Vegas, NV and lived there until about 2 years ago when she
moved home to Tulsa to take care of her mother who fought a brave
battle with Cancer, which she lost last year. |
|
Amanda was a beautiful soul, kind and caring to
all and a wonderfully creative person. She loved her pets, music
and art and was a wonderful photographer. Her life was cut short
and many will miss the bright light she brought to others. Her
spirit will live on in the lives of those she touched.
Amanda is survived by her father, Manny Diaz,
III; her brother, Manny Diaz, IV (c/o '74) and his wife, Nancy;
her sister, Diane Diaz Burton and her husband, Jim Boston of
Concord, MA. Service was conducted on October 17 and she was
buried with her mother at Calvary Cemetery. |

Hello friends,
I have some sad news to pass
on. Some of you may already know of the death of our long time
friend, Danny Carey. He died on Apr 19th.
His family called my Mother
telling the sad news. I do not know, yet, the cause of his death.
Danny is one of the friends I
grew up with in the neighborhood. Danny, Mike Taylor, Peter
Banfield, Kelli Harris, David Mancuso. There are few people that I
can say I have known forty years. This is sad news to all friends,
new or old, close or distant.
I remember when Danny got his
start in the film industry. Hollywood came to Tulsa to film Rumble
Fish and asked Danny to be the stand-in for Matt Dillon. (his name
is in the credits)
Here is some information on
his funeral service.
Carey, Daniel Joseph, 42,
production industry gaffer, died Thursday, April 19, 2007. Service
10 a.m. Tuesday, April 24th, Fitzgerald's Southwood Colonial Funeral
Home Chapel.
