Unusual activity @ Shelli & Leslie Barnes'
old house...

7/20/08: I noticed some unusual activity going
on, last Wednesday morning, at the house that Leslie & Shelli
Barnes grew up in, so I grabbed my camera and took a few
pictures and a video clip.
I'm sure that
there are many of you who will remember spending time at the
Barnes' house during your school years, so I couldn’t resist
putting it all together into this 2-1/2 minute clip [.wmv
format] – complete with background music.
play video.

Ed Note: We
recently received updated contact info from Randy Pierce,
which reminded me to take a look back to see if I could find the
Tulsa World articles from when he was shot, trying to serve a
warrant, back in 1998.
I didn't know Randy, but I remembered how much it
upset my Mom and sister, Judi Moon '81, when they heard the news.
Randy was one of the kids that used to hang out at our house after
school a lot. |

Curtis Franklin writes: The trip down memory lane is
fantastic !!! Thank you so much you guys for the great site. I have
enjoyed showing it to my youngest daughter. By the way I am 43 yrs
old. I was a deputy sheriff for Tulsa County for 15 yrs and an
Okmulgee police officer for 4 yrs. I have since been forced to retire
after having 5 bypass heart surgery. I have 3 girls and two boys and I
live in Okmulgee. It has been my understanding that the class of 79 did
not have enough interest for a reunion in the upcoming future. I hope this
is not true !!!! I had a wonderful time at our last reunion. Anyway thanks
again for a wonderful site ...man talk about memories of growing up !!!!!
