James Michael Johnson, M.D., age 52, was
born March 17, 1957 in Tulsa Oklahoma to Jim and Ruth Johnson.
He died December 2, 2009.
He was a graduate of Nathan Hale High School
(1975), Oral Roberts University (B.S.) 1979, and the University
of Oklahoma College of Medicine (M.D.), 1983. He did his
Internship at Baptist Medical Center and was an Anesthesiology
resident at the University of Oklahoma before taking an ER
position in Guthrie, Oklahoma. |

He practiced Family and Emergency Medicine for 24
years in Crescent, Guthrie, Edmond, Cushing, Stroud, Prague, and
Purcell, Oklahoma as well as several other ER’ s around the
State. He most recently served as Medical Director for
Physicians At Home.
He was a Member of Church on the Rock Oklahoma
City and was extremely knowledgeable of the Word of God and
loved to pray with and for his patients. He was a Member of the
American Academy of Family Physicians, the Oklahoma Academy of
Family Physicians, and the Oklahoma State Medical Association.
Dr. Johnson was a licensed Private Pilot, a Hunter, and a
builder of model ships.
He is survived by: his loving wife, Rebecca of 26
years; his beloved daughter, Ashley, his parents, Jim and Ruth
Johnson of Tulsa; sister, Anita Koval and her husband Joe Koval,
his brother, David Johnson and wife Melissa. He is also survived
by extended family throughout the Midwest. |

Dr. J took care of thousands of patients over
the years and considered it his honor to be used by God as a
Physician. A celebration service will be held at 1 p.m.,
Monday Dec 7, 2009, at Church on the Rock, in Oklahoma City.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested
donations be made to the Dr. James Johnson Memorial Fund,
through any Bank of Oklahoma Branch for the Benefit of
Ashley Johnson, for completion of her studies at The King’s
College in New York City. |

SHERRY
LYNN MARRS-RINEHART of Tulsa, 52, entered eternal life September 16,
2009 at her home. She was born December 2, 1956 in
Tulsa
to C. J. Marrs, Jr. and Lavonne (Smith).
She
excelled in school as a cheerleader, softball player and swimmer.
Sheryl was preceded in death by her son Bryan. |

She is
survived by her son Jeromy Murano; mother Lavonne Moguin and her
husband Mike; father, C. J. Marrs, Jr., sisters: Rene’, Class of '72
and Michelle, Class of '74; brother Jerry, Class of '76 and numerous
other family and friends.

Calvary

Mark NEWELL, born July 5,
1957, in Muskogee, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 in
Bryant, AR, at the age of 49. He was a longtime member of First
Southern Baptist Church in Bryant, currently attending Family Church
in Bryant.
Mark was preceded in death by his
father, Charles Newell. Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Kris
Thompson-Newell, Class of '75; 3 children, his mother, 4 siblings,
Terry, John, Judi and Denise, Class of '77, and 2 grandchildren and
many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 11
a.m., Friday, February 23, 2007 at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills
Funeral Home, in Alexander, AR. Graveside service will be held at 11
a.m., Saturday, February 24, 2007 at Memorial Park Cemetery in

Deby Jean
Despault [Pitezel] HUGHES, 49, of Alvarado, Texas, passed away
on Thursday, October 19, 2006, in Alvarado. She was born on
November 4, 1956, in Oklahoma City.
Deby began her
career by working in the banking industry for almost 34 years doing
what she loved. She could always find a lot of love in her dogs. She
had a strong passion for cooking and as a result she was very good
at it. However Deby's number one goal was making sure her family was
cared for. Deby loved spending time with her family and friends. She
was so very proud of all of her children and grandchildren and loved
to be called Nanna!
She was preceded in
death by: her mother and by previous husband, Dee Pitezel (Class of
'73). She is survived by: her husband, Bill Hughes (Class of
'74); children, Cody, Carson, and Cierra Hughes of Alvarado;
daughter, Joey Hoffman, son, Bo Brown, step-son, Chris Hughes;
step-daughter, Jenny Forthye; grandchildren, Haley Jo Hoffman,
Breigha Hughes, Braxton Forthye; her mother and father, Ronald J.
and Deidre (Dee) Despault; step-brother, Randy Maupin; step-sister,
Sue Hubbard.
Memorial service
will be held at 1 pm, Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at South Tulsa
Adventist Fellowship Church, 15303 E. 21st St., Tulsa, OK, 74134,
with Rev. Harvey Kornegay officiating.
A College
Scholarship fund has been set up for Bo Brown. Donations may be sent

John Hawes, age 48,
passed away on Friday, December 9, 2005 following a brief illness.
John was born, May 21, 1957, in Andrews, TX to Joe and Betty Hawes.
He moved to Tulsa in January 1966. He graduated from Nathan Hale
High School in 1975, and attended Oklahoma State University.
He was a lover of all OSU
sports, especially wrestling. For over 20 years, he had been an
employee of McIntosh Services, where he was an Air |

Balance Technician.
John is survived by his
wife, twin daughters, his parents, a brother, three nieces and one nephew.
He will be deeply missed by his family and countless friends. Interment
will be a Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the
family suggests donations to an education fund for his daughters, which
has been established at the Bank of Oklahoma. Contact Todd Hoffman
